The Fixed Top Mount allows for a full 450° of rotation. This means that light coverage can be a full circle, plus another quarter turn which ensures no blind spot. The 570 base has a built-in stop to prevent the internal wiring from binding. A built-in friction mechanism ensures the light will not rotate when the vehicle is in motion.
The pedestal allows the lamphead to rotate 450 degrees and have a self adjusting friction brake to prevent arbitrary rotation. The pedestal has a round mounting base. Wiring extends from the pedestal bottom.
The bulb is accessible through the front. The lamphead directs 50 percent of the light onto the action area while providing 50 percent to illuminate the working area. The lamphead angle of elevation is adjustable at a pivot in the mounting arm and the position is locked with a round knurled locking knob. The lamphead incorporates heat-dissipating fins. Lamphead and mounting arm are powder coated white. The floodlight is UL listed as a scene light for fire service use.
