The Lightning X Emergency Trauma Dressing is an innovative first-aid device for rapidly stopping the flow of blood from traumatic hemorrhage wounds in pre-hospital emergency situations.
This bandage combines a 4″ ABD pad for absorption with an extra wide elastic bandage and hook & loop closure to secure the dressing in place. Very similar to an Israeli bandage, it’s an ideal solution for the emergency treatment of moderate to severe bleeding wounds when every second counts.
Our Emergency Trauma Dressing is designed for quick application, and can be used with little to no medical training.
To apply:
Open the package and apply the absorbent pad to the wound with adequate pressure,
Wrap the area with the elastic bandage, attaching the hook & loop closure to the bandage to secure the dressing in place.
That’s it! A truly foolproof design!
Dressing measures 4″ (W) x 70″ (L), and comes vacuum sealed for easy storage in first aid, trauma and IFAK kits.
