The MBV Tactical vest has been ergonomically designed for high speed, dynamic entries, but offer maximum protection with overlapping front, back and side coverage.
Each vest has a front to back wrap around design, providing full side protection. The shoulder protection system provides maximum coverage with an adjustable overlap. Front abdominal flap secures external cummerbund; features kangaroo pouch for documents or holster. The vest includes a front and back plate pockets to accommodate 10 x 12 plates as well as two side pockets that will accommodate 6 x 8 plates or additional gap body armor. A 2 Velcro flap is positioned over each shoulder to allow for the optional addition of upper arm bicep protection. The bicep/chest region shall be contoured for unrestricted arm movement and added mobility during tactical manoeuvres. A contoured scooped ballistic collar and throat protector completes the extensive ballistic coverage.
The vest also includes a dual low profile weapons retention system with attachment tabs for securing mics, wiring and other items. The front carrier will also incorporate a detachable front pull down groin protector system as well as a detachable lower back protector. It incorporates a removable carrier for simple maintenance and cleaning. The vest also contains an integrated drag strap constructed of 1000 Denier nylon, the same material as is the exterior surface.
